Join us for a year-long 60th anniversary celebration featuring a variety of events, pop-up exhibits, and community initiatives throughout 2025, showcasing the Aquarium’s rich history and its continued dedication to conservation and education.

Help the Aquarium of Niagara tell our story through historical objects, souvenirs, collateral, photos, and more! We’re looking for members of the community and beyond to loan us your memorabilia to be on display at mini “pop-up exhibits” at the Aquarium and several community partners.

Since its opening on June 12, 1965, as “The Aquarium of Niagara Falls,” the facility has served as a hub for scientific research, environmental education, and innovation.
