Need a large outdoor space for an event? Consider renting our Whirlpool Commons community plaza. Located right outside of the Aquarium’s main building and situated along the Gorgeview Trail system, Whirlpool Commons is the perfect gathering spot for group picnics, organizational outreach events, outdoor fitness activities, and more.

Whirlpool Commons rentals are available from May-September and include:

• 2.5 hours use of Whirlpool Commons during the Aquarium’s public operating  hours (hours vary by day)
• Designated event host
• 50 total guests (adults + children)
• Free parking
• Chairs, tables, linens (for up to 60 place settings)

Events are rain or shine and there is no access to indoor event spaces.

The plaza is covered by shade sails, which provide light coverage from rain showers and sunshine, however, there is no structure/shelter in the event of inclement weather.

Admission to the Aquarium of Niagara is not included in the base price.
