Overview

Come behind the scenes of our Penguin Coast exhibit and meet one of our Humboldt penguins. Enjoy watching your new feathered friend waddle around your feet, engage with our friendly, knowledgeable penguin keepers, and make memories to last a lifetime! Get your camera ready! You can take as many photos as you want during the experience.

A Penguin Encounter does NOT include general admission. Admission must be purchased separately.
You must be at least 8 years old to participate in an Animal Encounter.
Participants cannot be pregnant.
Participants must be able to sit/stand and walk up/down stairs without assistance.
Participants must acknowledge that they have not handled or interacted with wild or domestic birds within 12 hours of their scheduled penguin encounter.
Participants will use a sanitizing foot bath before entering the penguin exhibit.
This program does not include any tactile interaction with a penguin (touching).
Bookings are non-refundable. Encounters can be rebooked upon requests made at least 24 hours before the program’s start time. Rebooking is not permitted for no-shows, late arrivals, or requests made within 24 hours of the program’s start time.
