Overview

Step into an aquarist’s shoes and see what it takes to care for our clownfish and coral reef exhibits!

During this 30 minute experience, you’ll go behind the scenes to see our life support systems and animal holding spaces. You’ll witness how we help our coral grow through a process called “fragging” and visit our animal commissary to check out how we prepare our animal diets. You’ll also learn about animal enrichment and the many actions we take to ensure positive wellbeing for all of our animals.

For the second half of your experience, you’ll assist with feeding our clownfish, pajama cardinalfish, anemones, and the animals in our coral reef exhibit.

This program does NOT include admission. General admission must be purchased separately.
You must be at least 8 years old to participate in Lead the Feed: Clownfish & Coral.
Participants must be able to walk up ramps and use a step stool.
No heels or sandals.
This program includes close proximity to seafood, and anyone with a seafood allergy is discouraged from participating.
Bookings are non-refundable. This program can be rebooked upon requests made at least 24 hours before the program’s start time. Rebooking is not permitted for no-shows, late arrivals, or requests made within 24 hours of the program’s start time.
