Treat your guests to an atmosphere unlike anywhere else in Western New York. The Aquarium offers both event room and whole-facility rentals, and we can create a customized experience to suit your individual needs.
Our newly renovated event room features an entire wall of windows and direct access to our spacious outdoor deck. Fully equipped with a projector and a/v technology, this space is ideal for corporate retreats, meetings, showers, and small parties.
Includes:
Host your event among the Aquarium’s exhibits, surrounded by more than 100 species of aquatic life. A whole-facility rental includes exclusive access to our entire public gallery, the event room, and outdoor deck space. Whole-facility rentals can accommodate up to 300 people and are ideal for weddings and large parties. Rentals are available after normal operating hours. Early closure to the general public is available for an additional fee.
In this hands-on encounter, guests will have the opportunity to physically interact with marine invertebrates like sea stars, sea urchins, and hermit crabs while learning about these interesting animals.
Meet one of the Aquarium’s freshwater turtles. In this presentation-style encounter, guests will have the opportunity to see the turtle’s unique traits up-close, learn about their natural habitats and behaviors, and even touch their shell.
Watch as our rescued/non-releasable sea lions glide through the water and demonstrate their amazing adaptations and athletic prowess. You’ll hear about their incredible stories of resilience and learn how you can help their wild counterparts. Sea lion show viewing takes place both on our first and second levels.
