facility closure (9/2-9/3)

modified entry

Entering the Building:

Guests should follow the pathway at the northwestern corner of our parking lot—all the way to the left if you’re facing the main building—through Whirlpool Commons to reach our main entrance.

Please note, there are stairs from Whirlpool Commons to the entrance so guests with accessibility needs should take the path to the right of the main building to reach our accessible entrance at the back of the building.

rescue harbor construction (ongoing)

Rescue Harbor is closed as we make some changes to our outdoor seal exhibit to ensure the ongoing comfort and safety of our seals.

Our seals are currently visible in our main pool with our California sea lions.

You can find more project information HERE!

a/c advisory (starting 9/4)

The Main Building may feel a bit warmer for 6-8 weeks as we work on our new HVAC system.

Elderly visitors, young children, and those with chronic health conditions may be more sensitive to the temperature change.

We’re working hard to keep the building comfortable for our animals and guests during this time. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we complete these improvements!
