LEAD THE FEED: AROWANA & RIVER RAY

experience a live feeding and training session

Overview

Step into an aquarist’s shoes and see what it takes to care for the stunning animals of our “Dangerous Beauties” exhibit.

During this 30 minute experience, you’ll go behind the scenes to see our life support systems and animal holding spaces.  You’ll visit our animal commissary to check out how we prepare our animal diets. You’ll learn about animal enrichment and the many actions we take to ensure positive wellbeing for all of our animals.

For the second half of your experience, you’ll assist our talented aquarists during a feeding and training session with our Asian arowana and ocellate river stingray.

You’ll leave with a new appreciation of these incredible animals (and maybe a wet sleeve).
