AUSOME AQUARIUM - GREAT LAKES 360

enjoy a special morning tailored to varying sensitivities and abilities

Overview

Come enjoy the wonders of the diverse Great Lakes ecosystem in a supportive, sensory-friendly environment.

Families impacted by autism spectrum disorder are invited to visit the Aquarium’s new building, Great Lakes 360 before it opens and enjoy special programming.

Guests can engage with 16 brand new exhibits and several interactive opportunities, including a sturgeon touch pool. There will also be snacks and crafts available.

This free event is generously made possible through funding from the Peter and Elizabeth Tower Foundation and through collaboration with Buffalo State University, and several community partners.

Parking:

There is free public parking in the Gorgeview Lot at the end of Walnut Avenue. Parking is also available in the Aquarium’s main lot, and Great Lakes 360 is accessible from the parking lot via Walnut Avenue or the path that begins at the NW corner of the lot (follow directional signage).

  • While this is a free event, space is limited and registration is required.
  • Please register for one of the two 45 minute sessions available. Due to capacity limitations, we cannot guarantee entry outside of your registered time frame.
