HOMESCHOOL CLASSES

learn through discovery

Overview

The Aquarium’s homeschool classes are the perfect complement to any science curriculum for students at every level. Each year, we explore a different STEM-based topic through monthly, all-ages classes that incorporate hands-on activities and specially themed experiences.  Classes take place on the second Tuesday of the month, September-May. Pre-registration is required.

2025-2026 Theme: Inside the Aquarium

Description: Take a closer look at the Aquarium of Niagara! Students will look at Aquarium exhibits and learn about the resident species, what it’s like to work at the Aquarium, care for animals, and get the chance to explore the behind the scenes areas of the Aquarium.

New this year: Students will take home a project after each class so they can keep learning long after they leave.

*Please note that we are a science-based institution and may touch on scientific themes such as evolution.
